Purpose:
To manage the planning, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of AHEAD International’s programmes in line with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
● Plan, coordinate, and deliver programmes in line with agreed objectives, budgets, and timelines.
● Monitor programme performance, impact, and outcomes using appropriate evaluation frameworks.
● Coordinate operational staff, consultants, and volunteers involved in programme delivery.
● Prepare progress reports for senior management, funders, and Trustees.
● Support capacity-building and training initiatives across programmes.
● Ensure safeguarding, equality, and compliance standards are embedded in all programme activities.
Person Specification – Essential Qualifications and Experience
● Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Project Management, International Development, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
● Minimum 5 years’ experience managing programmes or projects within a charity, NGO, or public sector organisation.
● Proven experience of programme planning, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation.
● Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and working with senior managers.
● Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, and compliance standards in the voluntary sector.
● Strong report writing, data analysis, and presentation skills.
● Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
● Fluency in written and spoken English.
